Chua's CircuitThe simplest electronic circuit that misbehaves: a coil, two capacitors and one resistor whose resistance flips sign. Its three voltages, plotted as a point in space, spiral around one hole, hop to a second, and never settle — a physical chaos generator you could build on a breadboard. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.Kirchhoff's laws give three equations; the odd part is the diode's kinked V–I curve f(x). That single kink is enough to bend the flow into two spiral sheets and let trajectories leak between them forever — the “double scroll”.
